At Trillium Integrative Medicine, we pride ourselves on a scientific, cutting edge approach to finding out the cause of your symptoms and help you return to health.
Although we specialize in "difficult to treat" conditions such as Lyme disease and mold toxin illness, we also help many patients with hormone imbalances (including low thyroid), weight loss, fatigue, digestive complaints, headaches, high blood pressure, and acute infections such as colds, flus, bronchitis, and urinary tract infections.
For complex, chronic cases your first visit with us typically lasts approximately 3 hours; for less complex cases your first visit will likely last between 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The time is extensive- not a 10 minute cursory glance at your situation as so many physicians give- so that we can gather all the information we need about your medical history, treatments that haven't worked, and do any necessary physical examinations. We will also review your medical records, and may perform additional lab testing and other types of in-office testing.
It is our job to examine the details of your situation so that we may treat you, whether with natural medicines, pharmaceuticals, or lifestyle changes, so that you can obtain your health goals.
We look forward to meeting you!
Dr. Robin Thomson
DR. ROBIN THOMSON
Dr. Robin Thomson is a naturopathic physician focusing on treating patients with biotoxin and other chronic illnesses. Realizing a “missing piece” to her patients' treatment of Lyme disease with long-term antibiotics, Dr. Thomson completed the Dr. Richard Shoemaker certification in biotoxin illnesses in 2013. Rarely has she needed to use long-term antibiotics with this protocol, and patients achieve health more quickly.
Dr. Thomson graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Later she received a grant from the Turn the Corner Foundation to study Lyme and other tick-born disease treatments with Dr. Bernard Raxlen in New York City. Dr. Thomson is a member of ILADS (the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), and the MANP (the Montana Association of Naturopathic Physicians). She is licensed as a physician by the State of Montana, where she is the owner of Trillium.
Dr. Thomson likes to hike in the woods or the desert; read science fiction, mystery, and nonfiction; snorkel; and listen to a wide range of music.
